When I was a kid, I never knew what love is all about but when I grew up, I can verbally explain the word. Now that I grew up, I  must say that we define love based on our own experiences. Some says, love is bitter. Some says it’s sweet and some doesn’t care at all. Yes, let’s not deny the fact that sometimes in our lives, we wished to have a happy life with someone; someone who can give you beautiful kids. Now that many of us have grown up, most of us learned what love is all about. Too sad, we have to know and learn this the hard way. Sometimes, I easily got jealous when I see two happy couple and you are alone in the corner and wishing that God will give me a partner very soon. It’s been 3 years since I last had a relationship with someone. I thought I can’t survive without having a man in my life but I was wrong. When you are single, no one will text you everyday saying “where are you now? wait for me I’ll fetch you” “have you eaten your breakfast? lunch? dinner?” “c’mon let’s have a movie date on Sunday” and the undying “I love you”. And with that, we,  will learn to be independent; to go on different places alone and to experience lots of things without asking someone if they will allow us or not. And since we are single, we find it hard to say “I love you” right away unless we mean it. Being single is the only time you learn to love yourself more than anyone in this world.  It’s like consulting your mind first before your heart. But it will come to a point that you’ll feel alone and empty beacuse admit it or not,you can really feel the happiness when it’s being shared with someone. 1, 2, 3,or more years to come. I don’t know when am I going to find him or I’m destined to be like this forever but one thing’s for sure: I can wait forever and when I already have it, I’ll do everything for him to stay “FOREVER”
